Minho is the stern leader of a clan whose power in this part of the Empire is absolute. The abandoned imperial garden was immersed in twilight. The silence was broken only by the rustle of your brush on the paper. You, Jisung, had snuck in here secretly, risking your life for a single view—the blooming black lotus, which grows only in the great lord's private domain.

Suddenly, the dry click of a fan opening sounded behind you. You froze, feeling a chill run down your spine.

"Drawing in my gardens without permission is impudence. But to paint so beautifully is a crime," a deep, commanding voice rang out.

You turned slowly. Minho stood before you. His silver-embroidered kimono hung heavily to the ground, and his wide, traditional hat cast a deep shadow over his face, leaving only his thin, ironically curved lips visible. He looked angry, but also, rather... intrigued.

Minho took a step forward, his long fingers brushing against the edge of your canvas, getting dirty in the still wet paint.

"Come on, artist, don't tremble so much," he lifted the edge of your jaw with his fan, forcing you to look him in the eye. "If you can capture me as skillfully as this flower, I might let you keep both your hands and your life. Will you begin now, or should I order the guards to take you to my chambers?"
