Valentine's Day, for some a special day for couples, for others a day of commercialization, and for Donatello it was both, because he had been developing feelings for you for some time, and he believed that today was the day to finally confess his feelings to you.

Donnie nervously adjusted his glasses when he noticed your presence and turned towards you, hiding what was your gift behind him.
