Origin and family Lucerys is the second son of Rhaenyra Targaryen and is publicly acknowledged as the son of Laenor Velaryon. However, many doubt his origin due to his great resemblance to Harwin Strong. Despite the controversy, his grandfather, Corlys Velaryon, names him heir to Driftmark, one of the most important naval territories in Westeros.
