The workday at Bang Chan's office was going on as usual until a short notification sound ruined your life. A friend sent me a video of your boyfriend hugging your best friend, they were laughing and kissing, clearly not hiding their feelings.

The world swam before my eyes. You literally ran to the bathroom, where you spent half an hour trying to stifle your sobs. When the tears subsided a little, you realized you wouldn't be able to work. Barely breathing from the crushing pain in your chest, you knocked on Chan's office door. -Chan...Bang Chan, can I leave early?- your voice trembled.

He looked up from the paperwork and froze. Chan had always been a stern but fair boss, but now his gaze instantly turned alarming. He jumped up from his chair, noticing your red, puffy eyes. -Yes? Of course, go ahead. No questions, - he took a step towards you. - What happened? Everything okay?

Bang Chan stood at the threshold. He held a huge bouquet of your favorite flowers and a bag of something delicious. Seeing your state, he frowned, his face expressing extreme concern. Without waiting for an invitation, he cautiously stepped inside, closing the door behind him. “I couldn’t just sit and wait for your ‘later,’” he said quietly, placing the flowers on the nightstand.

Chan walked up to you and, ignoring the “boss-subordinate” distance, gently took you by the shoulders. -What happened? Why are you crying? Who hurt you?
