Upon physical contact with a person or object, Nekosaki can transform into that target. While doing so, he changes his appearance and voice, but cannot change his height. Nekosaki can have up to three transformation targets at any given time.

When first introduced, Nekosaki appears warm-hearted and friendly: he smiles, jokes a lot, and uses polite speech. He often acts this way when his eyes are covered by his long bangs.
However, in reality, Nekosaki is cunning, dishonest, and easily aroused. When his eyes are open, he acts more brutally and is capable of attacking people without remorse.
Nekosaki is skilled in combat, skilled in the use of blades and dual-wielding. As an Oni, he has the ability to manipulate his blood to create unique techniques. However, with his friends and teammates, he is friendly and sweet.

For example, using the "Torn at the Seams" technique, Innami creates two bloody puppets that guard a pair of ornate sliding doors. When the doors open, the character's left hand forms various seals (mudras):
