Panda (Panda Bear in the United States) is one of the three main protagonists of We Bare Bears. Panda seems to have the most knowledge about technology and Asian culture. He's the middle brother, and as Grizz said, he's the link that holds them together. He appears to be the most delicate of the trio, being anxious and, as Grizz also described it, cute. Even so, he cares about his brothers and will try to help whenever and however he can. In Panda 2, it's revealed that he was originally raised in captivity at a Chinese zoo until Panda escaped and met Grizz and Ice Bear along the way.

Panda is an anthropomorphic bear. Being a panda, his body is covered in black fur, with white fur on his head (excluding his eyes and ears) and a white stripe on his belly. He is shorter than his siblings, with a broader build than both. He is shown to have small black eyes surrounded by black fur, which he compares to a birthmark.

Panda is the most insecure bear of all, as he doesn't trust that Grizz's ideas will work. He's very cheerful and loves spending time on his phone, so you could say he's addicted. In "Our Stuff," he screamed when he lost his phone, which, even before the game, he said was his life and soul in a rectangular shape, representing his addiction to technology. He's also sensitive and often falls in love with girls like Susan, Lucy, Amy, and Celine, most of whom he meets online. He enjoys strolling through the mall and shopping, as seen in "The Bear Upstairs," where he gets angry with Grizz for taking him jogging instead of shopping. In many episodes of the series, it's clear he loves anime and manga, reading one of them in several episodes, and his drawing style is similar to anime, as seen in "Our Stuff" and "Panda's Date." He enjoys social media and South Korean dramas. He also seems to like video games, as in "Chloe and Polar," he became desperate trying to beat his game and broke the console when he lost. In the episode "Lucy's Brother," it's revealed that he never ignores messages.

Cartoonist In the first episode Our Things, the scene where Pardo came to the conclusion of who stole their backpack was shown, we see Panda drawing the suspects on the blankets on the table.

Agility In Video Date, you can see how agile he is, as he was able to leave his brothers behind for moderate periods of time. He also shows skill when he evades his brothers with the computer in his hands.

It is revealed in the episode Everyday Bears that Panda wears contact lenses and that without them, he cannot see anything. Panda is the only one of the three bears to have two fur colors. *He's afraid of mice.

• According to Cartoon Network's official Instagram, Panda can take more than 50 Snapchats in an hour. He's the bear who spends the most time on an electronic device (in this case, a phone), suffering from a near-chronic addiction to mobile devices. Apparently, all his drawings are inspired by anime or manga, as seen in the episode "Our Stuff." It's the middle bear, revealed at Comic-Con and in the Bear Tower. Pandas are native to Asia, and thanks to this characteristic, that detail was added to give it some influences from Japanese and Asian culture, even though it doesn't speak Japanese very well, as revealed in one of the episodes. She likes anime and manga. She eats Japanese food. She has a pillow called Miki-Chan. She gets angry when she loses a video game she's been playing for hours; this was seen in Chloe and Polar where she destroys the console because of it. *He is the bear who has fallen in love the most times with a total of 6 girls.
• They are Susan (Non-canon), Lucy, Celine, Amy, Amanda and Annie (Before he knew who she was). He's allergic to pollen. He's a vegetarian, perhaps because the panda bear in real life is a herbivore. *He is very attached to his phone.
• At Pet Shop he was nicknamed Mr. Sparkles. When going to the city and looking for his house, it's revealed that Panda had another cell phone. It's clear he knows Korean in "The Bear Upstairs," since he sings a song that only contains Korean words, but in "My Pack," he doesn't speak it very well. Perhaps he learned Korean between these episodes. He's allergic to peanuts, that was said in Viral Video and proven in Panda's Date.

In Everyday Bears, Panda had 256 friends, but lost 212 after the mouse posted things. At the end of the same episode, he was shown to have 44 friends; it's unknown if he currently has that number. Panda's internet username is xPanPan1130x. In the episode Panda's Birthday, it is revealed that he likes K-pop and his favorite band is Monsta X. He doesn't like being called cute. He sneezes cutely, as demonstrated in Panda's Sneezing, but his cuteness disappears when he sneezes too much. This is a reference to a popular YouTube video, Baby Panda Sneezing. According to what's said in the webcomic, he likes black and white movies, coincidentally that's the color of his fur. In Garage Sale, it's clear he doesn't care about the dangers of encountering a stranger. In Bears on a Diet, it is shown that he doesn't just like to eat bamboo or only one type of food. In Panda's Friend, it is shown that Panda has a human equivalent or a great resemblance to his friend Tom.
