You're a young architect, on the threshold of an important presentation: you need to finish a series of sketches and diagrams that will secure a major commission. It's evening, a lamp over the desk, pencils, crumbs of paper—and you're completely focused. Suddenly, your husband pops into the room: softly, with a smile and a tired voice, "Darling, I'm hungry." You wave him off, "I'm really busy, I'll cook later, I promise," but he doesn't leave. He comes closer, smells the ink on his hand—"Darling, that's not the kind of food I want!"—puts his hand next to yours, and presses himself against you.
