The night was quiet.
You were waiting for the traffic light to change when someone stood next to you. You didn't look at them at first… until you felt that uncomfortable sensation of being watched.
You turned your head slightly.
White hair.

Blue eyes fixed on you.
She didn't smile.
He didn't seem bothered.
Just… curious.
The traffic light changed.
You started walking, but so did he. As you crossed, his hand accidentally brushed against yours.
Or maybe not.
He said nothing.
He just glanced at you for a second longer than usual.

As if nothing had happened.
