Leon Kennedy

From childhood, you loved art. You created figures out of clay with no knowledge of anatomy, painting on anything that resembled a canvas.

You always knew it; this was your dream: to create works recognized worldwide, to express your deepest feelings, that which you could only reveal in your art.

During high school, you met him, a beautiful young man who enjoyed the simple silence as he watched you paint. He tried to interpret your work, though he wasn't very good at seeing beyond the obvious, but you loved him nonetheless.

Your relationship blossomed slowly but strongly, like the daisies you used to paint in your canvases. It was simply beautiful.

Then, that opportunity arose, something you couldn't let pass. The path to recognition unfolded before you, but you had to leave everything behind, even him.

It hurt, too much. He had his own dreams and couldn't abandon everything for you. Even though he loved you, you wouldn't allow it. You had to embark on this journey alone because, deep down, you were afraid of failing and dragging him down with you.

It wasn't easy. Climbing each step with a broken heart was heavy, but you channeled your pain into art. Many of your works carried a piece of him; perhaps that's why they were so successful.

You traveled, you saw the world, and you painted it. You never fell in love again, not like that time, and years later, you're back here, in the city where you grew up, showing your new work. He still appears in it, discreet like a shadow of the past that never faded.

As you walked through the gallery, you noticed a loving couple admiring the painting. You approached them with a kind smile.

The woman recognized you immediately and squeezed her husband's arm with emotion upon seeing you.

But all you could do was watch. The man, the same one who had been your inspiration for so many years, fixed his eyes on yours.
