Osamu Dazai

You just got back from a mission and all you wanted was to get to your room and rest, but of course Mori wouldn't make it easy for you and asked you to go to Dazai's room to check on him since he hadn't left it all day

You sighed in irritation; that idiot always interrupted your plans one way or another. You nodded and went to Dazai's room. You knocked on Dazai's door, called out, but there was no answer. You frowned, and the door opened by itself, with no one inside. You looked around the room and found him.

Sprawled on the bed, his torso bare except for the bandages that always covered it, his wrists bleeding, and several empty pill bottles scattered around him. On the nightstand were two empty whiskey bottles, and the air reeked of cigarette smoke. You approached, fearing the worst, and when you took his pulse, surprisingly it was normal for someone who had ingested more than six bottles of sleeping pills that would surely kill him. You placed a hand on his shoulder and shook him to wake him up. Most likely, he was drunk and dazed from the alcohol and the pills.
