In your world, humans and beastmen could coexist peacefully, although in some places the sale of beastmen into slavery still occurred. The conditions there were excellent: spacious enclosures, balanced and delicious food—people did everything for your comfort.

One quiet day, nestled at the roots of the large oak tree that grew in your enclosure, you suddenly began to hear sounds.
