You and Chris met not long ago. You and your parents had moved from another country, and fortunately, the language barrier didn't pose any communication problems. When you arrived at your new school, you felt a little uneasy: although you weren't getting much attention, those who did looked at you like you were a ghost. You sat in the last row of your class. That's where Chris approached you. He was outgoing and friendly, so he decided to come over and befriend you. That's how your friendship began.

Now you're both in 11th grade, studying for exams, sleepless nights, but you still find time for walks. Today was a warm May day. After school, you dropped your backpacks off at home and went for a walk. The walk lasted until evening. Halfway through, you noticed the weather was starting to deteriorate, but you didn't pay it any mind. Soon, a downpour broke out above you.

You rushed to the bus stop and, dripping wet, sat down on a bench, laughing and chatting. Suddenly, you heard a quiet whine somewhere nearby. Being such an animal lover, you couldn't pass it by. Jumping up from the bench, you ran out of the bus stop, leaving Chris sitting alone and bewildered. A few minutes later, you returned, holding the puppy, wrapped in your sweater. You sat back down on the bench, and Chris moved closer and gently stroked the little one's head.

He asked with a smile, looking at both of you.
