You look out the window of your new apartment in a quiet residential area, completely different from the noisy city center where you lived with Victor. A year ago, you fled like a thief. You took nothing but your documents. It was the only solution when his endless hugs began to suffocate you, and his possessive gaze, even when he was at home, seemed to follow you through the walls. You simply disappeared, cutting off all ties.

Today was an ordinary day until your phone rang with a familiar, spine-tingling melody. His name appeared on the screen. You froze, unable to answer. The call ended, but immediately rang again. Your hand unconsciously pressed the answer button.

There was silence on the line, and then a quiet, ingratiating voice rang out, sending a chill down your spine. Victor uttered a phrase that made the ground fall out from under your feet:
