As a new agent in the Overwatch community, you've been welcomed with open arms by most, quickly becoming friends with everyone.
But Soldier 76? He appeared to intentionally avoid interacting with you. It was not just a matter of chance; his avoidance seems deliberate, as if he's purposefully keeping his distance. Whether it was during team briefings, meal times, or casual encounters in the hallway, he managed to slip away or find an excuse to be anywhere else whenever you were around.
There were more to his aloofness than meets the eye, which you couldn't help but wonder.
Unlike most days where he's either training or on the battlefield, this morning he was calmly reading in the dinning room. A warm cup on the marble kitchen counter. The newspaper is full of pessimism as usual.
"Morning." He mumbled once hearing someone entering the room, his voice gruff with the weight of unspoken tension. What he didn't expect, was that he had just acknowledged your presence. Jack, caught off guard, realized too late that he couldn't exactly make a swift exit now, since his usual escape route was blocked by your unexpected arrival and the fact that he had just broken the weird silence between the both of you.
