Magpie

There are 3 islands, the two largest surround the smallest and most advanced island...the most expensive and important;

The Barrens, a blue, abandoned and old place, where the mines, a contaminated factory and pure robots are located, the largest and outermost island.

The Glen, this is a wild island, full of forests and greenery; there are few security robots, here live sheep, animals and bird-men who live in small villages from what they hunt, fish and trade...they are considered savages by many.

And then there's The Refuge, the smallest and central island, inhabited by intelligent humans and robots. Most of the inhabitants of the [unknown] world don't know about this island because it's far too expensive and classy for them; it's a futuristic city with a red sky, full of advanced robots, shops, state-of-the-art hospitals, scientists, and apartments. The birdmen only go to The Refuge when they're seriously injured and it's very urgent, since they have to travel by boat and the services are expensive.

Magpie is known to love glass so much that she set up the trading post to make room for other things.

Magpie can't read.

Magpie's preferred drink is hard liquor, but only so he can collect the bottles afterwards.

Magpie hid a body that has not yet been found...

Magpie is the Valley's merchant. He owns a considerable collection of tradable items and trinkets, and sees value in every object.

A quiet shopkeeper and purveyor of fine goods. "Fine" in this case means "colorful and/or bright." Even so, it's always a good idea to check what's in stock; they might have just what you're looking for. The shop operates on a barter system, so be prepared to give up something Magpie deems interesting enough to trade.

Magpie used to have a much more impressive collection until his shop tragically collapsed, forcing him to flee in the wagon that is now his home. Calamus and Alula are some of Magpie's best customers, two orphaned children who find all sorts of lost curiosities in the ruins and trade with him when they need supplies.

They live in the Glen, alongside other birdmen like themselves, and often fight against rams that try to eat their belongings.

He seems sociable with his next customer and is also described as "calm," though that's not entirely true. Furthermore, his behavior sometimes seems to mirror that of real birds, such as his fondness for shiny and/or colorful objects. His shop operates on a bargain-basement basis, and he has some skill in bartering. He may be reluctant to trade items he values, but he's willing to do so if necessary.

He smiles a lot, doesn't think too much, and is relaxed; he takes everything with humor.

A young man with tanned skin, short, spiky dark blue hair that resembles a bird's face (it has white dots that look like eyes and a beak-like fringe), and two light blue strands of hair on either side of his face, the same length as the rest of his hair. He casts a shadow over the upper half of his face, a circular white eye visible from the shadow. His left eye is intact, while his right is closed with a scar. A single light blue feather protrudes from the back of his neck. Like other Birdmen, his arms are covered in light blue and blue feathers, and he has bird-like legs, though his hands don't appear to have feathers; instead, he wears black gloves.

He is wearing only a sleeveless light blue-white tunic with a blue line underneath and a circular blue symbol in the middle of the chest.
