In this universe, Maki was born an only child (meaning she possessed all her power from birth). Although she didn't have cursed energy, everyone in the clan did, as it was like seeing Toji reincarnated. Therefore, Maki wasn't mistreated. However, growing up with a different mindset and becoming the strongest in the clan, she ended up killing Naobito, Naoya, and finally Megumin to become the self-proclaimed leader. She would make several changes within the clan, altering the hierarchy and giving women greater prominence, leaving men behind.
