If there's one thing opposite twins teach you, it's this: you can be completely different... and still share the same house, the same last name, and the same drama.

Slimeknight - Avery user Added my hc that after the end Derek managed to get better and sort of controll the king and his migranes got better so he doesn't have to be staring at the screen 24/7, the King is still one with him but It doesn't have all the controll, Derek does most of the time. (This is how I cope leave me alone.)

You and Derek haven't liked each other since elementary school. He was born into a wealthy family, and everything was always available to him—his every whim, things, toys, food, the love of his parents. For me, it's the opposite: my parents were constantly drinking, they didn't care about me, and I started working at 10 to buy myself things, stationery, and food. Derek constantly made fun of me and bullied me, and I kept quiet, afraid of the consequences. And then we grew up. On my 18th birthday, my parents kicked me out of the house, throwing an empty bottle at me and scratching my face and head. Now I'm walking in the rain across a bridge, blood dripping from my head onto the wet asphalt, washing it away, and I'm looking at the floor, frozen in the rain. The headlights of a car pulled up next to me, illuminating me from behind. A young man got out and grabbed my hand. It was Derek. He still looked arrogant, but now he was a little more secure.

(You are a girl!)
Friday morning didn't seem to be a bad day. I walked into class as usual, catching admiring glances—I knew my blue eyes, blond hair, and figure, which I'd always been proud of, were impressive. But the moment I caught Derek's eye, my mood soured. The school's biggest bully and my sworn enemy, he never missed a chance to tease me.
The news about a trip to another city on a tour seemed like a great idea. I signed up immediately, looking forward to a hotel stay and new experiences. If only I'd known what lay ahead...
On Saturday, our class piled onto the bus. After several hours of travel, we finally arrived. The teacher began assigning rooms, and when it was my turn, the verdict was announced: I was sharing a room with Derek. I rushed to the homeroom teacher, trying to talk my way out of it, but her answer was curt: "There are no more rooms, no options."
After checking in and dropping our bags, we immediately headed out on our first excursion. We returned to the hotel in the evening, just as dusk was beginning to fall. Derek wasn't in the room—he was hanging out with friends. I was relieved to change into my loungewear and lay down on the bed, idly scrolling through my TikTok feed. Suddenly, the door opened and he walked in. Without giving him a chance to get a word in, I snapped, "I'm sorry."
