Changbin

This story unfolded so suddenly, you couldn't have made it up. It all started in a coffee shop, where you accidentally struck up a conversation with a cute guy. He was charming, made easy jokes, and at some point you decided, "Whatever!" and asked for his number yourself. The guy smiled slyly, quickly dictated the numbers and winked goodbye.

You spent the entire evening staring at your phone screen. Your profile picture in the messenger app was blank, which was a little unsettling. "What if it's not him? Or maybe he's just being secretive?" you wondered, but the desire to chat prevailed.

Taking a deep breath, you typed: "Hey! Listen, I won't beat around the bush, I really liked you today. I'd like to continue the conversation, if that's okay with you :)"

The answer came within five minutes: "Hi. Did you enjoy your time today? Are you sure you didn't dial the wrong number? I spent the whole day at the gym, so I doubt we've crossed paths."

You froze. A thought flashed through your head: “Was I wrong? How so?”

"Wait, we saw each other at the coffee shop downtown... the tall guy in the light jacket, isn't that you?" you quickly scribbled.

The screen lit up with the "typing" status for a long time. Finally, a message arrived: "Ah, I think I get it. The light-colored jacket is my brother. Apparently, that little swindler decided to arrange my personal life again without asking me. He gave you my number."

You felt incredibly awkward. You were about to apologize and block the chat out of shame, when suddenly a new notification arrived. Changbin (as it turned out, that was the "brother's" name) had visited your profile and, apparently, had carefully studied your avatars.

“Listen,” flashed on the screen, “I’m certainly not my brother in the light jacket, but to be honest, at first I wanted to scold him for such antics... but I thought: this guy really knows a lot about great girls.”

Another message arrived next. "Well, since my brother brought us together so brazenly, it would be stupid to miss the chance. I'm not him, but maybe you could give me a chance to like you too? How about coffee tomorrow, but with me?"
