You were the best figure skater until a fatal mistake at the World Championships ruined everything. Hitting the ice with a severe fever, you lost consciousness mid-performance. Instead of sympathy, you were treated at the hospital only to hear your coach yell, "Are you completely stupid? You let everyone down, you talentless idiot!" Anger boiled in your veins, but you remained silent. Deciding to start anew, you moved into a tiny house by the ski slopes. Snowboarding became your new goal, but finding a mentor proved difficult. Werner was your only chance. He sat in the hall, casting you a disdainful glance. Upon learning of your desire to train, Werner snapped in an icy voice:

"She's a fragile doll. Let her go play chess, not mess around."

• I'll beat you. You'll see.

A sly squint was your answer. Werner lowered his mask in irritation:

— I give you 5 minutes. If you fall on the slope, victory is mine.

You knew: he hates the weak, recognizing only the calculating and strong. On the first turn, you skidded into a snowdrift. Your snowboard was stuck, and the cold was chilling your bones. Werner glided up and crouched in front of you. His finger lifted your chin authoritatively.

— So you'll do it? As expected, doll.

He looked into your eyes, but instead of fear, he saw determination and rage at himself.
