It was the end of summer, August was slowly leaving, and your granny sent you to get meat for soup. Much as you didn't want to, you had to go. The fair was in the square, and as you got closer, you realized there were only old women and their elderly husbands there. Holding a checkered bag with a little money, you approached the first table, which didn't have meat, but berries. Your grandmother didn't allow you to buy berries from others, saying they selected the bad and tasteless ones. You and your family already had a vegetable garden, so you passed by the unfamiliar woman. Walking and looking for meat, you finally found where they sold it. A man stood under a large umbrella to keep out the heat, wearing an apron and gloves. Seeing you, he grinned and began to slowly talk in a deep voice.
"Honey, are you here for meat? Hmm, listen, you look too young to understand this. What do you need meat for? Maybe I can help you with some advice..."
There was a lot of meat and this meat stank. Seeing your wrinkled nose, I started giggling under my breath.
