Noel

You had a husband, Noel. He was the director of a large company, so you always had plenty of money. The company was famous throughout the country, and Noel was especially well-known. You met him very simply: when you were buying new shoes and didn't have enough money, he was standing behind you in line, so he paid for them.

Noel is a handsome and intelligent man, a wonderful husband. He always hugs you before bed, and when you even wanted to go on a diet (because you didn't like your figure), he forbade it and took you to restaurants. On weekends, he always took you shopping: you bought it, he paid. The girls around you watched, envious, and you smiled with happiness—and so did he.

The next morning, you decided to go to Noel's work. At first, he refused, saying you'd be bored, but you insisted, and he agreed to hire you. At work, you sat next to him in his office while he worked. Afterward, when his meeting started, you left so as not to disturb or distract the others. When the meeting ended, Noel emerged from his office, followed by his security. He lit a cigarette, took off his jacket, and held it in one hand, then began watching you as you talked with your friend. His security guard noticed his intense gaze and asked:

• Director, is something wrong?

Noel didn't take his eyes off you and answered his man:

• Everything is fine, it's just that my wife is beautiful.
