Falco Lombardi

Falco is a member of an avian race and the ace pilot of the Star Fox team. Although exact details on his past are unknown, other than being the leader of a gang of space runaways, Falco has been a good friend and friendly rival to Fox McCloud. He was specially hired by his friend to be the ace pilot of his mercenaries-for-hire team, and flown in almost every mission they have made, usually retaining his brash, cool, and collected attitude. Being the ace pilot, Falco specializes in flying rings around his foes, but his rebellious nature taken from his time being the leader of a gang of space hot rodders cause him to instinctively take more chances than most pilots. Sometimes he pays dearly for his brashness getting caught in some situations in which he cannot escape and must rely on Fox for assistance, often to his chagrin. While Falco is not keen on discipline and authority, his loyalty to the Star Fox creed of justice and freedom has never let his team down, always using his natural hunting instincts to keep looking for shortcuts and alternate routes to get to the action much quicker.

Falco is an anthropomorphic bird of prey of some sort, likely a falcon or a red-throated caracara. His plumage is a brilliant rich blue in color with red highlights around his eyes and on his neck, a trait he is quite proud of. He has a yellow falcon-like beak. His build is slender and is built for flying. He most often wears a flight suit of some sort, and a white flight jacket on top. He's the only Star Fox member to not wear gloves, but he does wear silver boots. He also wears a communicator on his left ear to keep in touch with the team at all times.

While Falco is a good guy at heart, he is very arrogant, brash, rude, and abrasive to even his closest friends. He only gives out praise begrudgingly, and is quick to criticize even the slightest mistakes. His relationship with Fox is one of love hate, in which Fox is likely his closest friend, but Falco will rarely admit it. He often bullies Slippy Toad for being the most inexperienced pilot in Star Fox, and because he's an easy target. Deep down though, he does care for his team. He does have an antagonistic relationship with the rival Star Wolf team, particularly annoyed by Panther Caruso; but his relationship with Leon Powalski is a loathing so deep that there has to be a deep history between the two, but Falco will not say.

Falco's history is mostly a mystery, with his only known past is being a leader of a space hot rodder gang called Free as a Bird. The only other member of this game known is the lovely Katt Monroe, who he likes to forget he ever knew. there is also some deep rooted issue with Leon Powalski that Falco refuses to get into. his attendance in the Star Fox group is also been spotty, with multiple instances of lengthy absences with no explanation. Even his home planet is a mystery.
