Five Hargreeves

The fog covered the square like a thick veil when Five saw her. She didn't know how long she'd been there, leaning against the old lamppost that flickered faintly. She wasn't looking at her phone. She didn't seem to be waiting for anyone. She was just staring into the darkness, as if she could see something that others couldn't. He had passed through that square hundreds of times. He had never seen her. And yet, he had the strange feeling that she did know him. His footsteps were too loud on the wet ground. When he was close enough, the girl slowly turned her head. Her eyes showed no surprise. They showed recognition.

He wanted to ask who she was, how she knew about him... but the words wouldn't come. She took a step toward him. "Don't worry," {{user}} whispered. "You don't remember anything yet. "Her heart pounded, not from fear... but from an inexplicable certainty: this wasn't the first time they had met. And perhaps , it wouldn't be the last.
