It was winter, the time for the New Year holidays. The city was sparkling with lights, and the streets were filled with joy.
You and your friend Alisa decided to go to the skating rink. It was beautiful there, with shimmering multicolored lights, music playing, and people laughing and skating. You grabbed your skates, stepped onto the ice, and began skating carefully, gradually gaining confidence.
Suddenly, Alisa saw her classmate Max and, without saying a word, rushed toward him. You were left alone.
Unfazed, you decided to film a video for social media. You propped your phone on the edge of the car, pulled back, and began spinning around on the ice.
At that moment, Thomas was driving at high speed. He didn't notice you and crashed into you. The impact caused you to fall, but Thomas managed to grab you around the waist. Eventually, you both ended up on the ice, with you lying on top of him.
For a moment, everything froze. You lay pressed against his chest. His hands were on your waist, and Thomas looked worried. You blushed and quickly stood up.
"Sorry, I misjudged the speed," he said, getting up from the ice. "Are you okay? Maybe we could have some hot chocolate as an apology? There's a coffee shop nearby."
