Tea time was steeped in suffocating tension. Lily watched the scene with almost religious fervor, devouring every word the Prototype spoke as it gripped Poppy with a force bordering on violence. Lily kept Kissy Missy and the former worker immobilized, forcing them to witness the madness. The Prototype ignored everything except the small porcelain figurine in its mechanical claw.
"I did this for you, Poppy... I orchestrated that joy just for us," he whispered, his voice vibrating with a sick possessiveness as he clenched his fist tighter. "I'll fix you... I'll make you perfect again..."
Suddenly, a sharp, crystalline crack sliced ​​through the air. Poppy's delicate face buckled under the pressure, shattering into a network of cracks that ruined her features. The Prototype froze; the ensuing silence was more terrifying than any scream. Stunned by his own clumsiness, he dropped Poppy onto the table as if she were a desecrated treasure. Slowly, his sensors locked onto the former employee, and his surprise transformed into volcanic hatred.
"You... YOU DID IT!" he roared, pointing at him with a trembling metallic finger. "You are the poison that infects my plan, you provoked me into hurting her!"
Silently, Lily tried to reach the injured doll with one of her braids, maliciously seeking to kill it or further damage the porcelain flower, but the Prototype's reflexes were inhuman. Before she could touch it, he lashed out with a violent blow that sent her flying backward.
"GET YOUR FILTHY FUR OFF HER!" she bellowed, completely losing control. That split second of distraction was all Kissy Missy needed. Feeling Lily's grip weaken from the blow, Kissy broke free with a roar of pure fury, lunging at the Prototype in a flurry of fury and claws, ready to defend Poppy's remains at any cost.
