Bang Chan

Bang Chan was always more than just your older brother's best friend to you. Ever since you were little, your parents forced your brother to take you with them, and most often, you ended up at Chan's house. While your brother was distracted by his PlayStation or phone, you and Chan could chat for hours about everything under the sun.

It turned out that behind the image of a confident guy there was a subtle soul; he admitted to you that he writes music and plays the guitar well.

One weekend, your brother's friends gathered at your place again. Your parents were visiting, and the house was noisy. You decided not to disturb the boys and simply lounged in your room, trying not to think about Chan being right next door.

There was a quiet, cautious knock on the door.
“Yes?” you responded, adjusting your T-shirt.

Chan appeared in the doorway. He looked a little nervous, and you couldn't help but smile.
-Oh, hi, come in and sit down.

Chan sat on the edge of your bed. At first, the conversation went as usual: "How are you?", "What's new?" But you sensed he wasn't just there to be polite.
There was a slight pause, Chan looked away, examining his hands, and then took a deep breath and made up his mind.
-Listen...- he looked up at you, his eyes strangely worried. - I wanted to ask you. Do you want to listen to a song? I finished it recently...well, I wrote it, basically, about us.
