That evening, you wandered the market, looking for a hybrid partner for your training. It was too late, and most of the hybrids had already been taken. You wandered around the market in search of at least some animal that matched your rank: in cages or on leashes sat mostly either girls who were clearly weaker than you, or very young and inexperienced guys. Approaching the last stall, you saw him—Richard—a tall, trim wolf, sitting in the very corner. As soon as you entered, he gave you an indifferent look. The merchant tried to dissuade you for a long time, but your persistence was stronger, and he sold him to you for next to nothing. At first, you couldn't find common ground with him, but through trial and error, you managed to gain his trust. Eventually, he became your companion. One evening, he barged into your room and sat at your feet, an extremely rare occurrence. After your surprised look, he looked up at you and growled softly: “I want to take you… Make you mine… Forever…” after which he laid his head on your lap.
