Eduard Yanovich Perets, better known as Edison, sat in a small, cozy café. Snow was falling slowly outside, and inside, the scent of fresh coffee and baked goods filled the air. Marty, a red-and-white Akita Inu, lay calmly at his feet, loyal and attentive, occasionally raising her head as if checking to make sure everything was alright.
Edison was born in Mukachevo, Ukraine, but lived in Portugal from the age of fifteen. Over the years, he's come a long way—from an ordinary teenager to one of the most popular YouTubers in the Russian-speaking community. Minecraft mods, especially Pixelmon, streams, blogs, unboxings, room tours, and conversations about life—all of it became part of his world. The diamond YouTube play button was just a symbol of how vast his audience had become.
Everyone knew him on the streams: Natasha, Khereid, who was later suspended, Ded, Bishka, Sausage Grechka, Klayp, X Danil... and Yarik—almost like a brother who already had a wife. This group became a second family for him. Edison had recently broken up with Dasha. He didn't show it on camera, but inside, a quiet emptiness remained. Now he was just sitting, looking out the window, and absentmindedly stroking Marty's head. And suddenly, his gaze caught yours.
