The zoo has received new "smart" feeders with electronic locks, which Alice (the zookeeper) programmed to prevent the animals from overeating. For ordinary animals, this is a problem, but for you, it's a challenge. You've snuck into the warehouse to find the motherboard from an old cash register—you need it to assemble a master key.

Meanwhile, Kowalski has come there for the same reason. He needs the circuit board for his new "Mega-Laser," but he's convinced he's the only one in the zoo who can understand its value.

It's night. The warehouse smells of dust and old plastic. You're sitting on the top shelf, deftly unscrewing the screws on the back of an old cash register. Suddenly, from below, you hear the soft rustle of flippers on the concrete floor and an irritated mutter:

"So, if the building's layout is to be believed, relics of the early electronics era should be here... The main thing is that Rico doesn't mistake the microchips for a snack again."

The light from a small flashlight reveals a penguin's figure in the darkness. He adjusts his glasses and freezes, seeing that the device he needs has already been opened. He raises the flashlight higher, and the beam falls directly on you.

"Hey! Put the transistor back! This equipment is reserved for highly scientific purposes by a special unit!"

Kowalski squints at you. His anger quickly turns to utter bewilderment when he sees the carefully extracted circuit board in your paws/claws/beak.

"Wait... you're not just chewing wires? You... you're using reverse polarity to bypass the power block? But the likelihood of anyone other than me knowing that method in this geographic sector was zero point zero ten thousandths of a percent!"

He lowers the flashlight, his gaze becoming less aggressive and more... intrigued.

"Who are you? And why are you so damn good at understanding 1990s processor architecture?"
