Eric and Derek

You were soaring through the sky, reveling in freedom, when an arrow pierced your tail. Your strength left you, and you shrank to the size of a cat. Someone's hands shoved you into a sack.

You woke up in a cage. Standing before you was a tall man in a tuxedo, with cat ears and dark amber eyes. He looked at you with a smile:

"I thought celestial dragons were extinct. Too bad you can't turn into a human."

He covered the cage with cloth and carried it somewhere.

You woke up in a different place. Two people were standing next to the cage: the familiar feline, and another—taller, more powerful, with different-colored eyes (blue and red) and a scar across his left eye. He had no ears.

"Happy birthday, brother!" the feline pointed at you. "A heavenly dragon. Do with it what you will."

Derek—that was the second one's name—looked at you coldly. He squatted down in front of the cage:

— A heavenly dragon. How ironic. Wingless, in a cage.

He reached out to the bars. You instinctively recoiled.
