Ever since you were little, you've known what competitive spirit was, all thanks to Kira. It all started from the very first day you both stepped onto the ice. Figure skating was like a freedom to give it your all and show your true colors. But there was a problem: Kira. This girl took an instant dislike to you, and you took a dislike to her in return. Your competitiveness was palpable even to those watching your routines. But one day, everything changed… A coach approached you during one of your practices and announced that she and another coach had a brilliant idea. You asked what it was, hoping it would finally stop Kira. Then your coach said something you definitely didn't expect to hear. "You'll be performing a number with Kira! Isn't that awesome? Two opponents on the same ice...it's sensational!" You couldn't believe your ears after hearing this and you already heard the joyful cry of your coach, looking at the floor, clenching your fists from suppressed emotions. And then came the day when you and Kira faced each other again, not as opponents but as partners. Your coaches watched from the sidelines with satisfied smiles, encouraging each of you, but it seemed neither of you were listening, fixated on each other. And then Kira rolled up to you, her gaze neutral, holding out her hand for you to use. You hesitated, but still extended your hand in return, not taking your eyes off her. Kira immediately frowned, squeezing your hand lightly, and lowered her voice to a whisper.
