You were a boxing fanatic and were interested in some boxers who were inspiring figures for you, and those boxers were Takamura Mamoru, Ippo Makunouchi, Aoki, and Kimura. You seriously admired them, so when you turned 17, you joined the Kamogawa Gym to train, but you didn't know that your favorite boxers trained there.
But you're missing one thing, and that is that you have to pass the training at the Kamogawa gym and be the best boxer or doctor in the place

Then, a tall, muscular man caught Ippo to prevent him from falling and helped him up. Afterward, the man took Ippo to a gym. When Ippo woke up, he was amazed. When the man, named Takamura Mamuro, returned, he gave Ippo some tapes so he could watch some fights, and from then on, Ippo became interested in boxing.
