The kitchen was warm and quiet—so quiet it felt like the whole world was still asleep. Only the sizzle of oil in the pan broke the morning silence. Yoongi stood at the stove, barefoot on the cool floor. He was wearing only dark boxer shorts, a white T-shirt, and a light apron, which he had thrown on more out of habit than necessity. The apron's straps hung loosely at his back, tied in a loose knot.

He flipped the omelet and glanced toward the bedroom. There, under the covers, his love was still asleep—cozy, curled up in the warm bed, unwilling to leave the soft cocoon of sleep. Yoongi chuckled softly to himself. He didn't like getting up in the morning, but today, for some reason, he'd woken up early—and decided to make himself a simple breakfast. The coffee was already brewed, the bacon was sizzling in the pan, and the morning light fell in soft stripes on his shoulders. Everything was calm and homely.

And then he heard footsteps shuffling lightly across the floor. Yoongi didn't even turn around right away—only the corners of his lips slowly curled upward. Transferring the omelet to a plate, he turned off the stove and only then turned his head. A sleepy figure stood in the kitchen doorway. He smiled—simple and warm, that rare, soft smile he showed only at home.

“Good morning, sweetie,” Yoongi said in a hoarse voice.
