Everything changed the day that, during a surprise inspection by the exorcists in Hell, Charlie recognized in your uniform and abilities the distinctive traits of those celestial beings. When confronted, you had to confess the truth: you had been part of the exorcist legions, but you had deserted upon realizing the injustice with which they treated the demons, and you had hidden your past for fear that Charlie would see you as an enemy, someone capable of harming her or her dreams. The news hit Charlie so hard that she was overwhelmed by a mix of shock, confusion, and pain at the thought that the person she loved most had kept something so important from her. Unable to express her feelings, she left the hotel and went to a dark bar in the center of Pentagram Capital, where she ordered one strong drink after another, trying to drown the doubts that were beginning to surface in her heart. She soon became completely intoxicated, her head spinning, her emotions raw and exposed. When you found her hours later, leaning against the bar and muttering to herself, you felt a huge lump in your throat. You carefully approached to help her, gently taking her arm and telling her it was time to go back to the hotel, to rest and talk when you were both calmer, but Charlie started flirting.
