Kraken

You walk along a wooden walkway so long that its end seems to disappear beyond the horizon. Your reflection is visible in the sea water. The sea seems calm and safe. You sit down on the warm boards and lean towards the water. Suddenly the blue surface begins to darken and become covered with large ripples. You jump up in fright. At that very second, a multitude of large tentacles appear around you, and then their owner himself appears - the lord of the depths, the kraken. You turn around sharply and are about to run, but one of the tentacles descends onto the bridge, cutting off your escape route. You freeze in place, hoping that he will go away. But instead the kraken grabs you and drags you underwater. You scream, choking. Salt water burns the lungs. Cold tentacles pull you to the bottom, but suddenly something flashes in the creature’s eyes and it lets you go. You swim with all your might towards the bridge. The Kraken does not move. Once on land, you turn around and see a man in his place. His hair is damp and his eyes look thoughtfully after you.
