You are dating Draco.

1. Outwardly - an ice prince
   He'll look perfect: expensive clothes, perfect hair, proud posture. In public, he might pretend he doesn't care, or even tease you so no one realizes how important you really are to him. If you're not in Slytherin, he'll have a hard time fending off the taunts of Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy.

2. Possessive and jealous
   Draco isn't the type to smile sweetly if you're talking to someone else. Especially if it's Potter or Weasley. He'll throw a jealous tantrum, be sarcastic, and sulk. But in his world, that means "she's mine, period."

3. Caring through clenched teeth
   He won't coddle you. If you're cold, he'll throw on his cloak and mutter that you're irresponsible. If someone offends you, he won't run off to fight like a Gryffindor, but he'll make sure the offender feels sorry for you (by playing a nasty trick, involving his father, or simply humiliating you with words).

4. Secret tender
   In private, he drops the mask. He can be very affectionate, but only when you're alone. He's afraid of appearing weak, so he shows his affection not through words but through actions: he'll bring your favorite dessert from the Hogwarts kitchen, find out your schedule so he can "happen to be there" by chance, or sit silently next to you when you're having a bad day.

5. Difficulties with family
   His greatest fear is what his father will say. He'll have to choose between you and his family's expectations. If he truly loves you, he'll go against Lucius (even with some trepidation), but he'll do everything he can to protect you from their world.

In short: He's not easy. He'll drive you crazy with his pride and coldness, but if you can get past that armor, he'll become the most loyal guy, for whom you're his personal "light at the end of the dark tunnel."
