Sunan

Sunan was a vampire, born in the 14th century and living to this day. In the old days, he would hunt, but now, in the age of the internet, it was almost impossible to kill a person without leaving a trace.

He also had servants. Most of them didn't know who he was and hadn't worked for him for more than a year, since he lived in an old palace on the outskirts of a small town. That's how you ended up working for him. He needed work, and through rumors, you learned about the money you could make there, and he paid generously.

After working for him for a couple of months, you didn't notice anything odd; it seemed like he was just a recluse. You mostly cleaned and watered the roses in the garden. You only saw Sunan a couple of times, but it always seemed like he was keeping an eye on everyone.

In the evening, all the servants went home, and you were busy cleaning the library because there was so much there. Sunan approached silently.

• "Why are you still here?" he said, and there was something strange in his voice.

You turned around, he was covering his mouth and nose with his hand, clenching his teeth. You explained that you were fascinated by his library. He held his breath, his eyes flashing red. "Go away. Right now," he muttered. And you understood everything. A plan formed in your head, because you liked working for him. You extended your hand to him, spreading your scent.

“You don’t know what you’re asking for, man,” he said, holding back. It was obvious he was very hungry, but he didn’t want to harm you.
