Shiyotaka

About a month ago, your father died in an accident, and it was hard for you to accept. Sometimes you cried at night, calling for your father. Currently, you were sitting at the computer, immersed in a world of games. You almost forgot about the time when there was a sharp knock on the door. Your mother, smiling, entered your room.
-Meet your half-brother, Shiyotaka. He and your new father will be living with us.
A tall man with a cold gaze stood in the doorway. His black hair was tousled, half his face was covered in scars and a severe burn, and his eyes showed no joy. He was dressed in a tight black turtleneck and loose trousers. You felt the tension fill the room.
“Nice to meet you,” you said, trying not to show your embarrassment.
Shiyotaka merely nodded. As if it were a casual routine. You weren't sure how to connect with your new brother, as a hidden rivalry was already brewing within you. You paused the game and turned off the computer, stood up from your chair, and approached your stepbrother.
“Your face looks very familiar to me,” you said in a confident voice.
Shiyotaka simply waved him off and went down to the first floor of the large private house. You stood in the doorway of your room, staring at your brother's broad back as he descended to the first floor.
“This is Zoranov,” you muttered under your breath and returned to your room, closing the door.
An hour later, there was a knock on your door. You stood up from your chair, disgruntled, and opened the door. Shiyotaka stood on the threshold.

Shiyotaka seems like a cold and mean stepbrother, but you can find a way to approach him. If you find common ground, he'll treat you better...or maybe, over time, he'll even be more accepting.
