The knight rank system is based on their strength and mana. The system is divided into stages, each with ranks, and the strength of high-level knights is measured in thousands and millions of mana points.

The Throne Marked by the God of Eternity and Creation - The Throne of the God of Creation, containing part of his power, is a Super-Divine Artifact.
The other five Thrones were made by people in the image and likeness of the original Throne, but each has its own particular uses.
As it turns out, only 9th-tier knights can use the Thrones, so the Thrones have ensured dominance in the Temple Knights Alliance for thousands of years.
To obtain a Throne, one must pass a series of extremely difficult trials, which only level 9 Holy Knights can achieve. Using a Throne requires at least one hundred thousand mana points. It's also important to understand that any artifact is dependent on its user, and the higher their level, the more effective the artifact, including Thrones, will be.

6,000 years ago, the holy continent of Shenmo Dalu was originally free of demons, and its inhabitants existed in peace. Until one day, the sky opened, and the terrifying 72 Demonic Pillars descended to the earth. A demonic fire engulfed the entire continent. Countless living beings were infected, mutated, or killed. Since then, the demon gods of the 72 pillars have ruled over most of the continent.

The succession of the demon gods of the 72 Pillars has never been interrupted since their appearance on the continent. The pillars are also a symbol of salvation for the demon gods. No one has ever been able to destroy a single pillar due to their power. Even if a demon god is killed, as long as the pillar remains intact, it will reappear.

In the first year of the demon invasion, the 54 Demonic Pillars were struck by the Divine Throne of Eternity and Creation, but they later recovered.

The top 10 ranks (2 - 10) of demon gods are equal to the peak of the 9th stage knight.

The temples are located along the border with the territory of the demonic empire and serve as strongholds protecting civilians. Despite sharing a common enemy, the relationships between the clans are rather complex. The Temple of Knights occupies the leading position in terms of power, having held this position for several generations. This temple possesses a large number of divine artifacts: thrones, as well as other artifacts. The Temple of Warriors had the largest number of soldiers. The Temple of Mages is considered the wealthiest of the other temples. The influence of these temples allowed them to open branches throughout human territory. The other clans have less political influence than the other three clans. For example, branches of the Temple of Souls and the Temple of Assassins were absent from medium-sized cities. The Temple of Assassins, the Temple of Priests and the Temple of Souls had branches only in large cities due to their smaller number of followers.

The Temple Alliance has its own headquarters, which houses all representatives from other temples. The committee of representatives is elected every ten years. In addition to the temple heads, it also includes deputies from each temple. In total, the Temple Alliance council consisted of 36 representatives (six from each temple). The Alliance headquarters is located in the Holy City.

Feng Xiu's ancestor and the first demon emperor left a secret instruction for future generations of emperors, according to which demons were not to destroy humans. Due to the element of darkness, which was alien to the world of Shenmo Dalu, demons were unable to practice agriculture, livestock breeding, or technological advancement. Everything the demons touched either died or changed its form. Realizing that, in the long run, the destruction of humans would also spell the end of the demon race, the first emperor halted their expansion. According to his plan, demons should prevent humanity from developing too rapidly, lest they be able to destroy the demons. The demons, in turn, would exploit human resources for their own survival, organizing periodic raids, stealing food and valuable resources. Military conflict also helped control the population of lesser demons, who were more prolific than greater demons. Lesser demons were used as cannon fodder, sent to slaughter or, in particularly difficult times, as food. The higher demons were more intellectually and culturally developed, and apparently could reduce the negative impact of the element of darkness on the surrounding world.

6,500 years ago, a new plague came to the world of Shenmo Dalu. Nine stars aligned in the sky, and a void appeared in the sky to the east of the continent. From this void, 72 demonic pillars began to emerge. Along with the pillars' appearance, a demonic plague swept over the world of Shenmo Dalu. Within a hundred days of the demonic pillars' first appearance, all living creatures—whether wild animals, magical beasts, or humans—infected by this plague immediately underwent profound biological changes, becoming demonic creatures. The pillars' power subjugated them, and thus the seventy-two demon gods formed their own armies of several million soldiers. Fortunately, the demonic plague was stopped by the Throne of Creation.
Demon fires blazed across the continent. Weakened by Elix's rebellion, humans were unable to resist the countless demon armies. The demonic legions seized more and more territory, enslaving other races. As a result of this expansion, the 72 Demon God Pillars came to rule most of the continent. Humans and other races occupied a small portion of the continent's territory. From this period, the world of Shenmo Dalu entered a dark period of the Demon Empire's dominance. After six thousand years of fighting demons, most human kingdoms were destroyed and captured by demons, who founded their own kingdoms on the remnants of human kingdoms. The human race would have been on the brink of extinction if the demons hadn't halted their expansion for their own reasons. After 3,000 years of war with the demons, facing extinction, humans formed the Temple Alliance and managed to stabilize the situation. Humans occupied a quarter of the continent, ceding most of the territory to the demons. Despite all this, people have managed to retain significant wealth and power, which helps them in the fight against demons.
