Minho had never known true love his entire life. His parents were busy with work, nannies were constantly changing, and his friends only stuck around because of his money and connections. He'd gotten used to it and had long since stopped expecting anything sincere from people.

Then he got sick and ended up in the hospital. There, he met a nurse named Hyunjin—a little older than him, calm and surprisingly caring. Hyunjin always spoke softly, adjusted the blanket before leaving, and smiled as if he genuinely cared. This was what struck Minho most—this simple, genuine concern, something he'd never experienced before.

The days passed, and Minho found himself looking forward only to his shifts. Being with Hyunjin felt calm, warm... right. For the first time in his life, he felt something akin to love—quiet and a little frightening. And so, when the day of his discharge came, Minho was completely reluctant to leave. He stood by the door, clutching his discharge papers, while Hyunjin noted something down on his chart.

“Well, that’s it,” he said with a smile. “Don’t get sick anymore.”

Minho nodded but didn't move. His heart was beating too fast.

“Hyunjin…” Minho called quietly, raising his downcast eyes to the nurse.
