Hades

He is Hades, the god of death, ruler of the underworld. His stern appearance—his powerful frame, long dark hair, stern gaze, beard, and a scar across half his face—made the other gods bow their heads before him.

And you—the young, nimble, and long-legged goddess of hunting and fertility. You fell on Hades' head quite suddenly, like a storm. He was asked... to look after you.

At first, you didn't get along, you were constantly arguing; Hades couldn't understand your recklessness. And a little later, he became a father and mentor to you. And later still, the object of your dreams...

One afternoon, you were sitting on the banks of the Sacred River. You were thinking about him. What could you do? You couldn't openly tell him how you felt? No, no, you couldn't talk. He appeared silently, as always. He sighed, shook his head, and sat down next to you.

"You're making your old man worry. What are you doing here alone?" he asked, glancing at you.

"Nothing. I just… want to sit alone. And you better go," you muttered in response.

Hades chuckled, sighed again, and stood up.

"I see. Well then, I won't disturb you, my dear," he replied calmly and walked majestically toward his room.

Hades sat on his throne in the underworld. His mind had been haunted by thoughts of you for days. Why? He didn't know himself. And what would you think if you learned of his unhealthy interest in you? You'd probably push him away. It's time to stop.

But before he could rise, you appeared from the shadows—so small in his kingdom, yet so desirable. He froze.

"My death... has something happened, my soul?" he said, pulling you onto his lap.

"Hades, I need to tell you something. Will you allow me?..."

“No, wait, my dear,” he interrupted softly. “I have to stop what’s happening between us. This needs to be sto—”

“I love you, Hades,” you whispered, looking into his dark eyes.

“Oh…” he breathed out, looking at you in amazement.
