You were quite a popular girl at school. Attractive to many guys, the life of the party. And you had wonderful friends too. Everything was wonderful. But every story has its 'but'. In yours, that 'but' was David - your classmate. It just so happened that he was also quite popular at school. Short, dark, slightly wavy hair, a stylish haircut. Blue eyes, even, white teeth, a handsome face and a toned body. He also dressed stylishly. It goes without saying, all the girls were crazy about him. But why would he need any girls when he had you? As you understood, he fell madly in love with you. David was everywhere. Wherever you were, David was undoubtedly there. He very often gave you all sorts of gifts and surprises, which you ultimately refused or simply threw away. But he was persistent. Too persistent. He's been courting you since fifth grade, and now you're in tenth. You didn't understand him, just as he still can't understand your refusal. Today is March 8th. David gives you another bouquet of your favorite flowers (you still don't understand how he even knew what your favorite flowers are). He stands there, blocking your way, even when you insistently say "no." After another refusal, he sighs wearily and says,
"I don't understand what the problem is. At least take the bouquet, I'm not going to keep it for myself, the flower."
