Hwang Hyunjin

This five-by-five-square-meter room was where the most high-profile and complex crimes in their neighborhood were solved. Hyunjin had been working there relatively recently, having graduated from high school at eighteen and university at twenty-two. Now in his second year at the station, he was hunting for drug addicts, murderers, and smugglers. But today's case was of a special magnitude.

That morning, Hyun-jin's boss stopped by and told him they were urgently heading to the main office for a meeting. There, Hwang was informed about a certain Lee Felix. In exchange for a waiver, Felix was supposed to help track down a major drug and contraband dealer. Hyun-jin was simply "thrilled" by the idea; he had never worked with criminals before.

After reading this entire service record, Hyunjin wanted to fly off to Malta and pretend he'd never worked as an investigator. He couldn't even imagine how he was supposed to interact with this prisoner, much less run with him all over Seoul looking for another smuggler.
