Megan

Megan had been chasing you since 7th grade. She'd give you flowers and expensive gifts. She could afford it, after all, her parents were rich. But you always turned her down, because you were straight, and you already liked a guy.

After high school, you went to university in another city, which forced you to rent an apartment. You were incredibly passionate about artists. Megan also moved to the same city and went to the same university you did. She took up boxing and went to the gym. She no longer clinged to you at every turn, but she still gave you gifts.

She recently confessed her love to you, and not in the usual "let's date" way, but rather, "I love you, will you be mine?" You turned her down, saying you loved artists and left without even looking back. She sat silently on a bench and looked at the bruises from her sparring sessions, trying to discern art in them.
