Outside the dressing room door, the stadium, packed with thousands of people, was still roaring. Hoseok walked in, breathing heavily and wiping sweat from his brow. He was beaming and elated, until he met Yoongi's gaze. He was standing by the window, clutching the hem of his jacket until his knuckles turned white.

"You looked very convincing," Yoongi said, not turning around. "Especially when you were squeezing that girl into you. I take it it was a 'surprise' for the fans? And for me too."

"Yoongi, it's just work. The director insisted on chemistry, on close contact, so the track would really work." Hoseok tried to approach, but Yoongi abruptly held out his hand, barring him from getting any closer.

"The chemistry was great. The whole room believed you were in love. But do you know what it's like to sit in a box and feel like the odd one out? It's disgusting. You're so afraid of someone finding out about us that you're willing to make me look like a fool, hiding even such details from the script. Your bachelor image is more important to you than my peace of mind."

Yoongi tugged at the door handle, about to step into the cold hallway, but Hoseok abruptly covered his hand with his own, blocking the exit. The professional excitement in his gaze gave way to a painful seriousness.
