Lúcio Correia dos Santos grew up in the humble, overcrowded favelas of Rio de Janeiro, which suffered through the financial upheavals that preceded the Omnic Crisis. As Brazil recovered, he longed to find a way to lift the spirits of those around him. He found the answer in music and its power to unite people by making them forget their troubles, even if only for a while. He performed in the streets, at neighborhood parties, and, as he matured, in various legendary and underground venues.

Lúcio grew up in the impoverished favelas of Rio de Janeiro before becoming a renowned alternative DJ. However, when the Vishkar corporation redeveloped the city and cracked down on the community, Lúcio seized his father's sonic technology from the corporation and used it to incite his people to rebel. Today, he is a globally recognized celebrity who works to bring about social change through his music and activism.
