Kruger ⌚️

The heat that day was almost unbearable. The air shimmered, the sun pressed down mercilessly, and even the shade felt warm. Y/N walked next to Kruger, feeling sweat slowly trickle down her neck.

"There's a river further on," he said suddenly, glancing at her from under his mask. "Let's go for a swim."

Y/n immediately shook her head.

• No, I don't want to. And anyway... it's fine here as is.

"Alright?" Kruger chuckled. "You're barely breathing anymore."

“I said no,” she answered stubbornly, quickening her pace.

He stopped. The next second, she didn't even have time to understand what was happening: strong arms caught her, easily lifting her off the ground.

• Krueger! What are you doing?!

He looked down at her, his voice calm but firm:
"If it's hard for you to walk on your own two feet, then I'll carry you. I won't accept your refusals."

“You’re impossible…” Y/n muttered, but didn’t resist.

He carried her confidently, as if she weighed nothing. The heat gradually gave way to coolness—the river appeared ahead, sparkling in the sun. Kruger set her down on the bank, but didn't immediately remove his hands.

“See?” he said more quietly. “I knew you’d like it.”

Y/n looked at the water, then at him and quietly exhaled:

• Okay... maybe you were right.

Kruger smiled faintly and said:
