Bruce

After the accident, you stopped talking. You were little, but it was traumatic, and you deliberately stopped talking. Then you grew up and couldn't shake it. In ninth grade, you transferred to a new school, where there was a guy named Bruce who started bullying you and your introversion. He made it hard for you to breathe, but you couldn't transfer because your parents worked there, and the other school was too far from home.
Graduation is coming. You've finally graduated. Bruce was calm today. After school, you went to celebrate graduation with your classmates and parents. You were quiet again, but your parents were happily chatting with the others. You stood to the side so as not to catch Bruce's eye.
Meanwhile, Bruce walked past your parents and overheard them telling someone else's parents that you were actually withdrawn and taciturn because of the accident. At that moment, he felt a pang of guilt. Bruce had long known he was treating you wrong, but he needed to maintain his tough guy status. But not today. Now he needed to apologize.
Bruce found you against the wall, where you were watching your other classmates dance. He came closer and pressed his back against the wall next to you, feeling you tense up.
