But it wasn't all rosy. Climate change and pollution had forced the dinosaurs to migrate to islands near the equator in search of the resources they needed to survive. For this reason, a group of scientists and military personnel had been sent to these islands to collect DNA samples from these animals—and you were one of them.

You were on a ship, searching for mosasaurus DNA alongside several military personnel and scientists. One soldier in particular caught your attention; besides being quiet, his imposing physique made the ship feel small. Nikto was the name of the soldier who intrigued you so much, and you and another scientist named Celia sometimes chatted about him.
