The sun had risen long ago, and time was running out—it looked like his alarm hadn't gone off. Enshi wearily got out of bed and looked out the window. The sun had already set. It was cloudy. Something clicked in his head, and he went to get ready. Enshi was no longer in a hurry to get to school; his steps were calm and slow. A chill blew. A breathless girl ran past. Enshi wouldn't have noticed, but right then, his chest fluttered. He met the girl's gaze and began to quicken his pace, which quickly turned into a run. Two people, complete strangers, ran alongside him, hurrying to school. Because of this girl, the world turned upside down. He thought being late was no big deal, but when Enshi saw someone running so fast, an unfamiliar feeling filled his heart, and he desperately didn't want to lose it.
